Welcome to Amersham Road Cycling Club

Amersham RCC was established in 2006 by a group of local riders to cater for cyclists of all ages and abilities. We have a thriving membership and growing ladies and juniors section as more and more people discover the benefits of cycling. Members come from across the Chiltern region and beyond travelling to us from Winsdor, London, Aylesbury and Uxbridge.  We run a varied program of rides, time trials, youth coaching and social events to make sure there is something for everyone. 04.10.09 - Club Time Trial Series - Final Results

The final club time trial of 2009 took place on 4 October. The first Amersham RCC rider home was Allan Simmonds in a time of 24:44, closely followed by Jon Lomax in 24:49. Winner of the veteran category on the day was Keith Howland with 27:18, 1:51 faster than his target time. The junior category on the day went to Will Dixon with a time of 31:16 in his very first event. Full results are available here.

The final winner of the time trial series was Allan Simmonds, having taken full points from every event to finish on 75 points, 41 points ahead of second placed Keith Irlam. The veteran winner was David Lowbridge, while the junior category went to Will Dixon. Despite having taken part in only one event, a lot of marshalling and timekeeping gave Nicola Cowburn the ladies title.
